Puppy Purchase Process
If you have decided that you would like to become a happy Bolognese owner, you need to take these steps to purchase a Bellissibolo puppy from our kennel.
In order to ensure a smooth, transparent and fair cooperation, all prospective owners will go through the purchase process detailed below.If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us!
Step 1 -Fill out our application form
If you are interested in adopting a puppy from our recent litter please let us know by filling the application form or sending us an email:

If there are no puppies available at the moment, sign up for our waiting list: please note that you may have to wait up to 1-1.5 years for a Bellissibolo puppy. As soon as our next litter is born and the exact number of puppies and gender ratio are known, we will contact you. Applying to our waiting list is free of charge. We respond to emails within 1-2 days.
Step 2 - Choose your puppy
You can choose your favorite from the available puppies. We upload new videos of the puppies every week to the
Bellissibolo Bolognese Youtube channel. Based on the videos and photos, our future owners can usually choose their favorite.

Should I choose a girl or a boy?
For some reason, people think that girl puppies are easier to keep because they are more adaptable and docile. This is not true, because on the one hand, there is no significant cognitive difference between male and female dogs, and on the other hand, let's not forget that bitches come into heat twice a year.
In fact, boys are kinder, cuddlier, and more accepting than girls. This is because evolutionarily, bitches had to grow up to the serious task of giving birth and raising children, while males spent their entire lives in the pack: getting food and mating during the mating season. Since they don't have the burden of caring for their offspring, they can remain more playful, kinder, cuddlier, and more mischievous throughout their lives.
Another thing to mention is marking. In fact, this problem usually occurs in only one case - when a male and a female dog live together in the family or near each other.
Male dogs that are kept as the only dogs do not usually mark - they have no reason to do so.
If marking occurs, neutering is usually a solution (it is recommended to have it done after 1 year of age). Neutering also offers a solution to the twice-yearly heat of female dogs.
So if you want a puppy, you can safely choose a boy - Bolognese boys are truly wonderful.
We email prospective owners every week about the puppy's development and daily life from the time of booking until pick-up, and we also send lots of new pictures and videos of the puppy. This helps to form a bond from the very first moment and for prospective owners to get to know their new family member.
Step 3 - Reserving the puppy
In the case of a puppy 6 weeks or older - reservation is based on the puppy's name.
The official reservation of your puppy is made with the payment of the deposit.
How much does a Bellissibolo puppy cost?
Thanks to the exceptional quality of our dogs, their thorough medical screenings, and our professional background, our prices may be somewhat higher than those commonly found in classified advertisements.
However, this difference reflects our commitment to quality and serves as reassurance that puppies from us will grow into beautiful, healthy companions for the next 15 years.
Step 4 - We maintain continuous contact until the puppy joins his new family
After the reservation, we send the owners weekly email updates about the puppy's development and daily life until the puppy is picked up. We also provide new pictures and videos regularly. In addition, the puppy will have Zoom meetings with its prospective owner.
This helps to build a bond from the very beginning and allows future owners to get to know their new family member.
Before the pickup, we discuss the "puppy shopping list" — what the Bellissibolo starter package includes, what we provide with the puppy, and what additional equipment the new owners should purchase.
We also send the Bellissibolo Puppy Handbook, a guide that answers most questions and helps future owners prepare for their puppy's arrival.
Along with the puppy, we also give you the latest version of our 30-page Bellissibolo puppy handbook - which contains useful tips and advice for new owners during their first period and a well-equipped starter package.
Step 6 -Pick up your puppy in our house or we arrange shipping
It's always a joyous moment to see the happy faces of new owners when they first meet their puppy.
Puppies can be taken home at 11-12 weeks, depending on their development and level of independence.
The new owners visit us, sit in our living room next to the puppies' kennel, and, over coffee or tea, we discuss important questions and provide useful information to help them in the first few days. These discussions make it easier for the puppy to adjust to its new family.
New owners will meet the mother, but they cannot meet the father, as we usually use great Italian male dogs as fathers, who live with their families in Italy.

Pet Passport & Microchip
Bellissibolo puppies have microchip in their left side of their neck. The microchip details are transferred to your name.
Along with the puppy, new owners will also receive the puppy's International Pet Passport - which contains all the infos about the vaccinations the puppy got from his birth.
Puppy Starter Package
We give you a large starter pack, which contains: dog diapers, chews, plush toys and 1 kg of high premium dry food.
We also give you a blanket with mom's scent to make your puppy the smoothest adjustment possible to his new place.
Lifetime Support
We will be always by your side and help you - you can always ask from us if you are unsure about something.
We have 15+ years of experience with the Bolognese breed - there is no such thing as stupid questions!
Health Guarantee
Ensuring strong, healthy bloodlines with the help of PRA and Patelly Tests and regular medical examinations we provide health guarantee for genetical diseases.
Potty Training
We start it very early for a smoother transition
Puppies from us usually 85-90% housetrained before they move to their new homes.

Shipping a puppy
We can ship our dogs internationally but you are always welcome to come pick up your puppy in our house
Some of our new owners came to us by car or by plane and some other cases we arranged the transportation of the puppy with a professional dog shipper or Sarah travelled together with the puppy.
All of our puppies have arrived safely and soundly.
Puppies can be trasported to their new homes when they are 12 - 15 weeks old. The exact age depends on the rules of the destination countries.
Shipping to the USA and travelling to other far destinations with a puppy
Until the time of transportation, we stay in weekly contact with the new owners of our puppies. We send them videos and pictures and discuss important details about their new family member.
As the shipping time approaches, we make the necessary reservations for the airport of your choice. We are located near Budapest Airport (HU).
We work with a professional shipping company that provides a personal escort for every puppy. The escort (also known as the pet carrier) cares for the puppy throughout the journey, ensuring it's well-fed, hydrated, and comfortable. The escort stays with the puppy in the passenger area of the plane and sends updates, including photos, to keep you informed.
Upon arrival at the destination airport, the escort will contact you, and you will meet at the Arrival zone. The escort will hand over the puppy along with its starter pack and documentation.
The shipping company is reliable, with great experience in pet transportation, and offers references from satisfied owners in both the U.S. and Europe.

The photos sent by the Bellissibolo owners make us both emotional at the same time - because on the one hand, we are reminded of the wonderful memories, the moments we spent with the given puppy when it was a baby, and on the other hand, our motherly hearts overflow with love that a little baby weighing barely 100 grams is growing up and happily spending his life with his new family, where they love him very, very much!
